The Facts.

What you always wanted to know.

The MINI Cooper SD Coupé has one advantage over its petrol-driven colleagues: it has the largest engine with the highest torque. Even just above its idling speed, the turbodiesel with common-rail technology gives the sporty two-seater a powerful forward thrust.

Aerodynamic body styling permits a top speed of 134 mp/h. The small frontal area with the flat sloping windscreen, the roof dipping far down to the rear and the tail with electrically extendable spoiler offer little resistance to the headwind.

On the inside, too, the MINI Cooper SD Coupé has been tweaked for sports-style driving. Torsion reinforcements have been incorporated into the bulkhead behind the front seats, for example. They stiffen the body and increase stability on the road.

For all the incredible performance of the two-seater’s engine, the interior is remarkably comfortable and geared up to everyday use. The seating position ensures that even tall occupants can travel in comfort over long distances. The boot also displays its generous side, with 280 litres of space. Ideal for spontaneous excursions or a weekend shopping trip.
